A group break is when several people share one or more boxes of cards according to teams, divisions, players or by other methods decided beforehand.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BREAKS?
TEAM RANDOM
In a TEAM RANDOM, all participant names are randomized on random.org to then be associated with the list of teams in alphabetical order.
Each opened card is assigned to the team the player is listed on it for. In the case of an international or star team, the card goes to the team the player was with during the year the box was opened. If no team is specified, the card will be assigned to the team the player played the most matches for.
REVERSE RANDOM
In a random hit break, all the cards are removed from their packaging and listed. Then, all participants are randomly assigned a card. This type of break is used for products with a smaller number of cards. The advantage of this type of break is that all participants will receive a card.
WHERE CAN I WATCH MY BREAK LIVE?
Your station wagon will be presented on Facebook and/or YouTube LIVE. If you happen to miss the live stream, 100% of the breaks will be available on [platform name]. Youtube .
WHAT CARDS WILL YOU RECEIVE?
You receive all the cards that were allocated to you according to the type of break chosen, except for the basic cards.
WHAT HAPPENS IF 2 TEAMS OR 2 PLAYERS END UP ON THE SAME MAP?
If a card can be assigned to 2 participants, it will therefore be assigned randomly on Random.org at the end of the BREAK.
AM I GUARANTEED TO RECEIVE A CARD?
No. There is always a possibility that you will not be assigned any card regardless of the type of BREAK you have chosen.

By default, we do not send the bases, however, if you have no cards during a break you can contact us to receive base cards.
WHAT IS A PERSONAL BREAK?
A PERSONAL BREAK is when a participant buys a complete box on our website or during a stream. This box will be opened before or after the next LIVE BREAK. Following the opening, all the cards will be sent to you.
EXAMPLE
In the NHL, there are 32 teams. Therefore, there are 32 spots available at a price X, depending on the boxes available during the break. The price varies depending on the type(s) chosen. On the website
www.laboiteahobby.ca , go to the Break section. During the current break, randomly choose a "spot" number out of 32. Once payment is made, your name will be added to your chosen "spot." When all 32 "spots" are assigned, we will post a notice for the break time directly in the group. At the break time, a RANDOM will be generated on
RANDOM.org with the list of participants. There will be three randomizations (names will be randomly arranged), and then this list will be combined with the list of NHL teams. Your name will be placed, according to the RANDOM, with an NHL team. Once all participants have their teams, the break begins. The Breaker opens the packages and/or boxes live.
If, for example, Jean was RANDOM with the Montreal Canadiens, then he will have all the Canadiens cards that will be unwrapped in this break except for the base cards.
Once the break is over, it will be possible to listen to it again on this group or our YouTube channel.
The cards obtained for each participant will be shipped via Canada Post.
RAZZ
A razz is an interesting purchasing option to get an item at a very low price!
We have 10 to 15 places available for our customers.
When all the tickets are sold out, we'll do a live stream directly on our Facebook group.
Using the
Random.org website, we enter the names of the participants and then we roll dice to assign the number of times to the randomize button.
The first name at the top of the list gets the item including shipping!
EXPEDITION BREAK
Shipping for cards won in breaks is always free and by default is via regular mail. We do not guarantee service once the cards are in the post office. Therefore, we cannot guarantee delivery times, but we ship three to four times a week. For $9.99, you can also choose tracked shipping with Canada Post, so you can always know the location of your cards or boxes, and delivery takes between 2 and 5 business days. Without tracking, we cannot guarantee 100% delivery, which is why we strongly advise holders of high-value cards to opt for tracking. Regarding shipping for items on the website, the price is listed for each item at checkout. The price varies between $7 and $15.
Shipping with optional letter post
